Acceptance of Terms

By using the website located at rathdrumsconcreteandmasonry.com or by engaging Rathdrum Concrete & Masonry for any masonry or concrete contracting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Description of Services

Rathdrum Concrete & Masonry provides residential and commercial masonry and concrete contracting services in Rathdrum, ID and the surrounding region. Services include but are not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, walkway construction, and related masonry work.

We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion. Acceptance of a project is confirmed only when a written agreement or signed estimate is in place between you and Rathdrum Concrete & Masonry.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Rathdrum Concrete & Masonry are based on conditions observed during an on-site inspection. Estimates are not final quotes until a written proposal has been provided and accepted by both parties. The following conditions apply:

• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Estimates do not include work beyond what is specifically described. Any additional scope discovered during the project will be communicated to the client before proceeding.
• Prices are subject to change if material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date.
• Verbal quotes or informal price ranges given over the phone are not binding and are subject to revision after an on-site inspection.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Once a written agreement is in place, we will work with you to schedule the project at a mutually agreeable time. The following terms apply to scheduling and cancellation:

• Project scheduling is subject to crew availability, weather conditions, and current workload.
• We reserve the right to reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions, including extreme cold, rain, or other conditions that could compromise the quality of masonry or concrete work.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee as specified in your written agreement.
• Any deposit paid to hold a project start date may be non-refundable if you cancel after materials have been ordered or work has begun, as specified in your written agreement.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in each project agreement. General payment terms include:

• A deposit may be required before work begins, as specified in the written agreement.
• Final payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be specified in your project agreement.
• Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted under Idaho law.
• We reserve the right to suspend or withhold work on a project where payment is overdue.

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your property and the scope of work needed.
• Ensure reasonable access to the work area on agreed project dates.
• Keep children and pets away from active work areas for safety.
• Notify us of any underground utilities, property lines, or other conditions that may affect the work before it begins.
• Obtain any necessary homeowner association approvals or permits required by your HOA prior to project start, separate from any permits we are responsible for pulling.

Permits and Compliance

Certain masonry and structural repairs require building permits under Idaho law and local county regulations. Where a permit is required and is the contractor's responsibility, Rathdrum Concrete & Masonry will obtain the appropriate permits prior to beginning the permitted scope of work. Permit fees will be included in the project estimate. Work requiring a permit will be subject to inspection by the relevant authority.

Warranty Disclaimers

Any warranty provided by Rathdrum Concrete & Masonry will be described in your written project agreement. Unless a specific warranty is stated in writing, the following applies:

• Masonry and concrete work is subject to natural weathering, settling, and environmental conditions that are beyond our control.
• We are not responsible for conditions arising from pre-existing damage, hidden defects not visible during inspection, or factors outside the scope of the agreed work.
• Normal cracking, efflorescence, color variation in mortar or concrete, and minor settling are not considered defects and are not covered by any warranty unless specifically stated otherwise.
• Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by events beyond our control, including flooding, earthquakes, extreme freeze events, or acts of third parties.

Limitation of Liability

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the courts of Kootenai County, Idaho.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
